Cadwork has been in the process of development since 1980, and has been a leading 3D CAD/CAM software supplier in the field of timber construction for more than 20 years.

With nearly 2000 clients and more than 5000 licences installed in the field of timber construction alone, Cadwork can now cover substantial sections of the market place.

Our range of products comprises not only timber construction but all areas of steel, solid and exhibition construction - including cabinet-making -required for planning, 3D design & production.

Since 1988, a total of 14 commercial centres and marketing branches have been set up in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France and Canada. A total of 60 employees is employed in these development, sales, training & support centres.

Cadwork's clients work in many European countries, the USA and Canada. Your investment is protected to a tremendous extent by Cadwork's worldwide presence. The logical application of users' preferences in cadwork means that you can benefit from our clients' experience, concepts & expert knowledge. Thousands of wooden houses from the field of timberframe and prefabricated construction, stud construction, log building construction, SIP’s, gluelam and any desired hybrid combination have already been produced in cadwork.

Buildings are automatically prefabricated in Cadwork and their design worked out down to the last details of the fasteners. Production is increasingly coming to rely on direct connection of all current cutting systems and multi-function bridges.

Because the program gives you all of the necessary assembly drawings, lists, individual component drawings and wall systems, even a small firm is able to produce a turnkey plan and to make individual, attractively-priced quotations for wooden houses.

In addition to house construction, generally known projects such as the exhibition roof in Hanover, the "Chesa Futura" in St. Moritz, the Collososs (the world's biggest wooden roller-coaster, at the Heidepark, Soltau), and Balder (the new wooden roller-coaster in Göteborg) were designed with cadwork.
